FUN TIMES - DT

A new case is up at http://csichallenge.blogspot.com

I solved the case the traditional way by using the five colours, items from the evidence, and choosing one of the prompts from the testimony.

I've had these photos sitting around for a few years. This case file was the perfect challenge to finally scrap them.

Colours:
Off white, Celadon green, Kraft, Brownish black, and Crimson are all easy to identify.

Evidence:
Woodgrain background, Plaid, Banner, Woodland animal (rabbit), Metal (brads), and Twigs/branches (silhouette cut file, and bird stamp).

Testimony:
Document an outdoor memory.

I have given myself the goal of using my stamps, and my Silhouette, as much as possible. I cut the fancy branch, the title tab, and the leaves for the flower grouping, with my Silhouette, and used five different Stampin' Up stamps. Yeah me !

Close up of the details.

I used very little embellishments other than paper. The kraft flower was made with a punch from the left over paper I used to cut the fancy branch. The red flower was also punched from a small scrap of paper.

Bird and woodland animal stamps.

Finally, the journaling.

When the kids were smaller, we would often go get them to take them for a walk in the trail at the back of their home. They would run, jump, and love to play on the old hay wagon sitting in the field.

That's it. I hope I was able to inspire YOU to solve the case.

Thank you for any comment you may care to leave. I really appreciate you taking the time to do so.

À la prochaine, Until next time,

Jacynthe ☺

  1. Bonjour Jacynthe, what a lovely double page spread, these photos are perfect for the Case File aren't they? I especially love how you've created your own embellishments from paper, I like to do that as well. Thank you for your kind comments on my page, the leaves were die cut from paper scraps and then scribbled on - looks like you may have done the same?? A bientot!! :o)

  2. What a gorgeous set of photos! the dark wood background makes them really shine. Love that little banner you created and the cluster of flowers and all the little bits and pieces you've got tucked in here and there. That ornate corner cut file is beautiful!
