Time for another challenge. I thought I'd give Sketch-N-Scrap's October sketch a try. You can find their challenges at http://sketchnscrap.blogspot.com
Here's the sketch:
My layout:
I used two horizontal photos to replace the vertical one on the sketch, and placed the flowers at opposite corners to better suit my layout.
Some close-ups:
The title letters and the leaves were cut with my Silhouette Portrait.
I listed a few things about our rescue dog, Maggie.
*Lovable * Sweet *Quiet *Doesn't bark *Likes going for car rides *Loves going for walks *Walks beautifully on leash *Loves kids *Loves other dogs *Not vicious at all.
The journaling is placed on the back of my layout. It tells the story of how we adopted Maggie in August from a local rescue group whose aim is to save dogs from high kill shelters in the US and bring them to Canada for a chance at a better life.
