CSI Case 227 - Lovable

We have a beautiful case file over at http://csichallenge.blogspot.ca/ this month. Here it is:

Here is how I solved the case:

The colours; Pale yellow, Orange, Light cream, Pale olive green and Dark walnut brown are all there.

From the Evidence list I used: Floral pattern, stripes, something fuzzy, animals, flowers, fabric, and a circular element.

On this close-up you can see that I used some white mulberry paper for my fuzzy item. I've had that small piece in my stash forever. I really like the soft effect if creates. The circular element was cut with my Silhouette. The twill tape (also ancient) counts as the fabric evidence and the stamped owl counts as the animal.

And lastly the journaling, which describes my grand-daughter Rosalie's lovable disposition, was written inside a frame.

She's funny, not one bit shy, loves telling stories and making us laugh. She'll have no problem fitting in once she starts kindergarten in September.

That's it for now.

Hope you'll join us for an upcoming CSI challenge. I always love seeing everyone's take on the challenge.

'Til next time,
Jacynthe  ☺

  1. Oh my goodness, what a cutie pie! You are one lucky grandma. I really like everything about your page. I love the circles you cut out with your silhouette and how it looks like a wreath. I also love the tags peeking out from behind your photos. You've done such a great job.

  3. Gorgeous photos and layout, Jacynthe! As always, I love the mix of patterns you used and all the perfect details. Way to go using that mulberry paper. I've got so much of it in my stash. We need to start using that more--maybe it'll become a trend again! Love how you encircled those photos in that sketchy circle.
