In order to keep my mind off how much I hate this weather, I decided to create a layout that works for both the SOS Blend-A-Sketch challenge and case file 257 at Color Stories Inspiration.

Blend-A-Sketch challenge:
I machine stitched the two outlines, placed four photo/paper blocks, and sprinkled the sequins(requirement) as in the left-hand sketch. I used three hearts placed next to each other horizontally as in the right-hand sketch.
Case file 257:
Colours; Seafoam green, lemony yellow, white, black, & carnation pink, are all there.
Evidence; Floral pattern, Flowers/leaves, Tissue paper (stamped hearts), Glasses, Quadrant design, Black & white pattern, and Tiny brads.

The title letters were all stamped. Sequins, tiny brads, and black&white pattern.

Quincy has the patience of an angel. She's always willing to play along with the children even if it means being dressed up as a princess.

ReplyDeleteOh, how fun are those photos! Love your creative take on the sketches. The black stitching gives such great texture. The flowers and sequins are perfect embellishments for our glam dog photos! And look at you using all those stamps! So happy you decided to scrap to forget the heat!
