4 sweet kids

I'm back after a 6 months break from scrapbooking. I've rediscovered my love of sewing and it's been keeping me busy trying out new projects. But, my scrapbooking supplies were calling me back to either put them to use or get rid of them. Truth be told, I'd like to keep going at it a bit longer if I can. Thank goodness for challenges such as this one to give me a bit of motivation.

This month's sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap was perfect for me to scrap four recent photos of my four grand-kids.

I adapted the sketch by placing the banner(s) underneath the circle, which was cut out with my Silhouette. The 3 flower grouping was moved to the top section, and my title was placed on a tag. I've added some embellishments and letter stickers that have been in my stash forever.

I hope you like it.

Thank you for dropping by.

À la prochaine, Until next time,

Sweet Dreams

I'm back after a bit of a scrapbooking break to share a layout for the March Sketch challenge over at the Scrap-Our-Stash blog.

Here is the fun sketch we get to play along with.

My layout:

I stayed fairly true to the sketch. We were also asked to use washi tape. Thank goodness I do not have a large collection of washi tapes because I struggle to incorporate it on my layouts. I simply used two small pieces to hold down my journaling block.

A while back I gave myself the goal of using at least one stamp and one Silhouette cut file on every one of my layouts. On this layout the journaling Notes is from Stampin' Up, and the arrow and the leaf were cut with my Silhouette. I've also stopped buying scrapbooking supplies so everything on here is old stash.

The photos are of my daughter's new puppy, Lucy. Do you think dogs dream? I'd like to think so.

That's it for now. Thank you for stopping by.

À la prochaine, Until next time,

Jacynthe😊
